Grigons & Orr Corner Store

http://grigonsorr.com.au

As if the website wasn't cute enough, the milk bar store is really an exciting, lolly filled delight on a quiet street in North Melbourne.  We drove past it initially, very easy to miss despite being the only notable shop on the whole street.  Perhaps more due to my terrible sense of direction.

The place was fantastic though, very relaxed/homely feel with delicious hearty helpings.

The menu was surprisingly quite extensive, including a gluten free selection on the back.  I tried the Omelette with Fresh Herbs and Grana Padano.  Delicious, and very generous serving, with some delicious chucks of cheese on top.

Had a few bites of the French Toast with Banana, hazelnuts, organic yogurt, fresh strawberries and drizzled with maple syrup.  AMAZING. Will definitely go back for more. And will have to try the Couscous porridge with coconut cream, goji berries, toasted almonds and shaved coconut and honey.  Coconut CREAM-super excitement.
